Bohol Island Adventure

August 17-19, 2008 - This was our first tour together with the Team Decepticons (One of our close friends). We decided to go outside Cebu to celebrate our friendship and to know ourselves better. Thanks to Roxy who opened their house for us to stay for a day during our tour in Loboc.

First stop was the Island Mall where we bought almost everything we needed for the entire 3 days stay. It was surprisingly small but at least they have the grocery store where we got our food and drinks. It just so happen that we were kinda late so we never got the chance to witness the fireworks display that Island City Mall offered.

We headed straight to the ancestral house of the Tumanda Family where we received the usual Filipino hospitality. It was so random that we decided to take a small hike going to places the old Loboc town can offer. As if we were walking in a very huge museum when we passed by the old Loboc church heading to the very colorful Loboc Bridge. In the said place was the Floating restaurant on the very famous Loboc river. We drank a little tequila and slept really early since we planned to go to the Himilian Cold Spring the following day.

It was a 45 mins hike going to the beautiful Himilian Cold Spring. Heading there was just so overwhelming specially when the surrounding was so luscious and green. Corn and rice fields here and there, with the beautiful Bohol mountain ranges, you can't help but forget how tiring the walk was.

After the Loboc Tour we went to a mini zoo where they kept the Tarsiers and the Flying lemur. The tarsiers were just too fluffy and cute you can't think of buying one (haha, as if we can), we cannot say anything bad about the Lemur though, but we cannot say any good about it as well ^_^.

i want to buy one! LOL! ^_^

We headed straight to our island hopping adventure where we went to the Balicasag Island for a good snorkeling and fish-feeding. The Puntod Virgin Island was just too picturesque with its white-powdery-long sand bar, and its exceptional view.

Last stop was the Panglao Island where we stayed for a night in Dumaluan Beach Resort after we head back to Cebu.

We missed visiting a lot of nice places in  Bohol, to name a few was the famous Chocolate Hills and the zoo where the big python was caged. Oh well, its not gonna be our last visit though, as most of us would say "sa sunod nalang na oi!" (maybe next time).

Hidden Paradise - San Fernando Cebu

December of 2007 when we were still young, a few years back.

Unwinding from the business and pressure from work and school. This was during our college days when we were still working and studying at the same time. Both of us were working students when we decided to plunge into one of San Fernando's spring resorts. It offered 2 big swimming pools, a restaurant/convenient store, some rooms that you can rent for the night, some small cottages for a day tour and a big fishing pond that you can enjoy.

We enjoyed the spectacular view of the Cebu mountain and the luscious greens surrounding the place.

Girlfriend and boyfriend since 2005, planned to make this blog to keep an archive of our usual undertakings. Most adventures are from within the Philippines and hoping to explore the realms outside the country (of course). Just a typical couple who has our own differences and imperfections.

We decided to list the places that we've been, for our future tiddler to know, for us to share, and for us to remember in days of old. ^_^
